COVID VACCINATIONS UNDERWAY

We are proud to present the first assisted living and memory care home in the Washington DC area developed by Metropolitan Washington Orthodox Senior Housing (MWOSH) and professionally managed by Larmax Homes.  The idea for this home was born many years ago from the desire to create a caring and spiritual living environment for senior parishioners in the local Orthodox communities.

MWOSH’s beautiful new home, neighboring St. George Greek Orthodox Church, is conveniently located on Bradley Boulevard in Bethesda. It is purposefully designed with an open floor plan, vibrant materials, and comfortable furnishings to promote safety and belonging in the warm, secure context of home.

The home is designed for residents to thrive and maintain dignity while fostering independence. It is purposefully built with open floor plan, vibrant materials and comfortable furnishings to promote safety and belonging in the warm, secure context of home. Highlights include private bedrooms with private bath, delicious home cooked meals, large common areas for engaging activities and screened in porch perfect for visiting with family and friends.

Nestled in a quiet Bethesda neighborhood, 6505 Stoneham is perfect for enjoying sunny days on the front porch or the screened back porch. Several bedroom choices are available at Stoneham: large private bedrooms that share a double bath with one other room; a private bedroom/private bath suite; and one two room suite with private bath.

Residents gather for family style meals and conversation in the dining room and enjoy the warmth of the fireplace in the family room. For families and friends, visiting a loved one at our senior home, which is welcomed any time of the day, is easy as access to I-270 and I-495 is within a mile.

Our first house in Maryland featuring a mixture of suites and single bedrooms, all with private baths, 7102 Bells Mill is tucked away on almost an acre in a quiet, friendly neighborhood within walking distance of Montgomery Mall. Two first floor suites open onto a shared, gated patio. There is one suite on the main floor and a mixture of suites and single bedrooms on the second floor. An elevator serves all three floors.

The main floor includes a spacious screened porch overlooking beautiful gardens. The front porch is a favorite gathering place in warm weather for watching as joggers, children and pets pass by.

Everyone loves to sit on the front porch at Greyswood and watch all of the activity in the neighborhood. If a little more peace and quiet is desired, from the screened porch, residents can watch the birds and squirrels playing in the lovely back yard. Like at 6505 Stoneham, bedroom choices at Greyswood include large private bedrooms that share a bath with one other room; a private bedroom, private bath suite; or a two room suite with private bath.

Staff really enjoy coming to work here and many have been with the company for a long time. Greyswood is a very tight knit family of staff, residents and their families. Whether it’s hosting family card making parties for the holidays, a barbecue in the summer or just sitting around the cozy fireplace, the staff are exceptional at all they do and the residents thrive.

Our newest home, 9480 Seven Locks sets a new standard in elegant housing for the elderly. The purposefully designed and built house features four single bedrooms and four suites, all with private bathrooms. A library with fireplace is the perfect setting for intimate family and social gathering. The back porch is meant for breakfasts in the summer and family gatherings. Downstairs, an art studio is available at any time and the large conference room will host our support groups in Maryland.

Close to Wildwood Shopping Center, Ipswich is the first of our houses, purposefully built based on our mission of serving the elderly in a home setting. Nestled into the neighborhood, Ipswich has eight private bedrooms, half of which have private baths and the other half of which share with one other bedroom.

With both front and back porches, there are lots of opportunities to enjoy sitting outside. Residents enjoy their personal breakfasts of choice any time and family style lunch and dinner together in the dining room.

Residents at Ipswich enjoy walks around the neighborhood and are known for making special Halloween treats for the children who live nearby.
